Treatment Staff
The Recovery First clinical staff is made up of highly educated
and experienced therapists, all with a strong background in
substance abuse treatment. Most of the counselors and other
staff here are in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction
themselves. We feel that being able to relate to our clients on
this level greatly enhances the effectiveness of our treatment
program.
Eric Oakes L.C.S.W., C.A.P., Clinical Director
Eric Oakes possesses a masters degree in social work, and is a
licensed clinical social worker and a certified addictions
professional. He has been working in the mental health and
addictions fields for twenty years, and has been has spent more
than half of that time at a director level. He has lectured to
international audiences on subjects such as co-occurring
disorders, home based treatment methods and clinical
supervision. He has a vast knowledge of working with adults,
women with children, adolescents and individuals with mental
illness and addiction.
James F. Davis, CAS, Executive Director
Jim is a Board Certified Interventionist. He has a wealth of
experience in the administration of drug and alcohol treatment
centers. Jim has spent years working directly with the families
and loved ones of addicted people.

offer flexible schedules to accommodate our clients. Outpatient
treatment meets 3 sessions per week, for a total of 6 weeks.
Recovery First also offers extended
care options for those needing treatment for longer periods of
time. We are happy to work with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
and the court system. We understand that each case has special
circumstances, and we make every effort to advocate for our
