Outpatient Addiction Treatment for Drug Addiction or Alcoholism

Outpatient Treatment ServicesRecovery First offers a flexible Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program at our treatment center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Unlike our Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Pogram, our standard Outpatient Program consists of 18 sessions, most optimally spread out over 6 weeks. Clients who opt for this program will work with an experienced and qualified counselor to determine the most effective treatment regimen for drug addiction or alcoholism. Clients in the Outpatient Substance Abuse Program are assigned an individual counselor, who will create an individual rehabilitation plan. The program aims to achieve rehabilitaion from excessive drug abuse or alcoholism through one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and relapse prevention training. Participants of the Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program meets for 3 sessions per week, for a total of 6 weeks. Recovery First may also recommend extended care options for those needing engagement and interaction with a program for longer periods of time. We are happy to work with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and the court system. We make every effort to advocate for our clients, especially when they are receiving substance abuse treatment in an effort to recover from drug addiction or alcoholism.

Since the Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program provides a lower level of supervision than our other programs, it is frequently offered to those who have completed our Day/Night Program or Residential Treatment Program as a way of gradually transitioning out of substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation. It is also offered to people in situations which prevent them from entering our residential substance abuse program. When necessary, we will arrange housing in a clean and sober living environment for those attending our Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program. Recovery First understands the difficulties associated with substance abuse, whether such abuse pertains to drug addiction or alcoholism. As a result, we  take extra care in ensuring the swift recovery and effective rehabilitation of our clients.

Recovery First is accredited by The Joint Commission (JCAHO) and licensed by the Department of Children and Families Services (DCF), which means that you can be absolutely certain that you or your loved one will get the best possible care and have the best possible chance at living a positive, productive life free of drug addiction, alcoholism, and other substance abuse issues.

Recovery First also offers other levels of substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation. Our most intensive level of treatment is the Inpatient Substance Abuse Program, but we also have other treatment options for drug addiction and alcoholism like our Day/Night Program or Sober Living.
