Outpatient Treatment for Substance Abuse
Recovery First offers a flexible Intensive Outpatient Program at our treatment center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The standard Outpatient Program is 18 sessions, most optimally spread out over 6 weeks. Clients who opt for this program will work with an experienced and qualified counselor to determine the most effective treatment regimen. Clients in the Outpatient Program are assigned an individual counselor, who will create an individual treatment plan. The program includes one-on-one counseling, group therapy and relapse prevention training. Outpatient drug rehabilitation treatment meets for 3 sessions per week, for a total of 6 weeks. Recovery First may also recommend extended care options for those needing engagement and interaction with a program for longer periods of time. We are happy to work with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and the court system. We will unfailingly make every effort to advocate for our clients.
Since Outpatient is a much lower level of supervision than our other programs, it is frequently offered to those who have completed our Day/Night Program or Residential Treatment Program as a way of gradually transitioning out of treatment. It is also offered to people in situations which prevent them from entering our residential program. When necessary, Recovery First will arrange housing in a clean and sober living environment for those attending our Outpatient Program.
Recovery First also offers other levels of care. Our most intensive level of treatment is Inpatient Treatment, But we also have other treatment options like our Day/Night Program or Sober Living.
