Level of Care – Recovery First Hollywood
Everyone is Different
Upon arrival at Recovery First Hollywood, clients are assessed to ensure that an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is the appropriate level of care. This is determined by factors such as the client’s physical dependence to drug of choice, potential for withdrawal symptoms, psychosocial history, and individual addiction profile. If client is medically stable following detox, then step-down to IOP is appropriate.
Recovery First Hollywood offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adult men and women struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. This program is less restrictive than inpatient or residential treatment programs, but clients in our IOP are committed to a structured schedule that requires attending treatment three (3) days a week at our treatment facility, in treatment blocks of a minimum of three (3) hours. At this level of care, the client’s objective is remaining employed, maintaining family obligations, reintegration into society, refining aftercare plans, and transitioning to wellness and recovery.
Preparing for Success
Following IOP treatment, you or your loved one will reintegrate back into community, employment, and home life. During your program stay at Recovery First, you’ll attend psycho-educational or didactic sessions on a number of aftercare topics, such as developing coping strategies for environmental stressors to avoid “triggers” for substance use. For a healthy recovery following treatment, we encourage you to continue practicing these skills and using the alternative behaviors developed in therapy and groups. We strongly recommend involvement with 12-Step groups and the strong AAC alumni network in the greater Fort Lauderdale area.
