The Services Provided by Managed Care Concepts Insurance for Rehab

Managed Care Concepts insurance for rehab provides crucial services to addicts and mental health patients in the workplace. Through their employee assistance program, they confidentially counsel troubled workers – and refer them to reputable rehab clinics when extensive therapy is necessary. If your employer contracts with Managed Care Concepts, you may be able to take advantage of the following services for rehabilitation and psychiatric treatments.

Employee Assistance Programs

Like many insurance companies, Managed Care Concepts uses an employee assistance program to provide referrals and sub-contracted counseling to workers and their families. There are two ways in which you can access these resources. First, you can call your EAP’s hotline yourself to schedule an appointment with a counselor. Your counselor can help you identify your drug problem, related issues, and possible solutions – or they can refer you to an inpatient or outpatient program at an affordable drug rehab clinic.

If your job performance suffers because of substance abuse or related behavioral problems, your supervisor may recommend you to attend counseling. They may advise you to set up your own appointment, or they may schedule one for you. The steps you take with your counselor are the same in either situation.

Referrals to Drug Rehab

In some cases, Managed Care Concepts EAP counselors are able to provide all necessary counseling services. Their ranks include physicians, addiction specialists, and other people who are well-qualified to deal with substance abuse and related issues.

However, hardcore drug addicts will usually require more extensive treatment. Your EAP counselor can help you find an affordable rehab clinic in your area that’s at least partially covered by your employee health insurance benefits. Depending on the severity of your addiction, you may be placed into an outpatient, detox-only, or inpatient drug rehab program.

Brief Therapy Sessions

When you first meet with Managed Care Concepts counselor, you may decide to schedule brief therapy sessions – treatments designed to quickly and effectively alter problematic behaviors. These therapies can take place in person or over the phone, and they typically last about one hour. While this service may be beneficial for people with minor drug or alcohol habits, most addicts will usually require additional care.

Mental Health Programs

Managed Care Concepts also provides a wide range of services for addicts who suffer from co-occurring disorders. Employees have twenty-four-hour access to mental health professionals who can assess their problems and analyze their treatment histories. These counselors can then provide therapy themselves or refer people to qualified psychiatrists or integrated care facilities. Overall, this service is crucial for addicts whose mental illnesses contribute to their ongoing drug habits.

Confidential Care

One of the greatest benefits of Managed Care Concepts insurance for rehab is its confidentiality. Employees maintain confidential working relationships with their EAP counselors, and information is only made available to their supervisors through written consent. Even when supervisors make the referrals, they can only be informed of workers’ participation or non-participation – not the subject matter of their therapies.

A wide variety of helpful services are available through Managed Care Concepts insurance for rehab. To find out what types of coverage and payment programs you qualify for, fill out the insurance verification form to the right of this page. No matter how severe your addiction has become, you still have hope for a better future.
